Tonnant, after an ((1693)) which was one of the most heavily armed ships of her day and still could fit in with the naming convention of the Sovereign being named for the H.M.S. And *California*\-class ships (which we’ll get sooner or later) are all named after locations in California. Some, like the *Luna* or *California*\-class ships have a theme to them *Luna*\-class ships are named after various moons, generally from Sol but depending on the character theme I might include lore-relevant moons. It varies by character theme or starship class.
