There's also my Luna which I have named the U.S.S. Victory and fought at the battle of Trafalgar alongside her. Royal Sovereign which was the same class as Nelson's famous H.M.S. Tonnant, after an ((1693)) which was one of the most heavily armed ships of her day and still could fit in with the naming convention of the Sovereign being named for the H.M.S. I'll use a comparable ship from our history to re-use for an appropriate Starfleet ship.įor example, I've got a New Orleans class named the U.S.S.

Ushangvagúsh*.Īmongst plenty others - with over 40 characters, this comment would be even more entirely too long if I listed them all. I have a dwarf-themed Tellarite who uses dwarf-language names pulled from a Dwarf Fortress Youtuber I enjoy named (), like the *U.S.S. My Elsa (from Frozen) character uses goddess names for her ships, like the *Nebula*\-class *U.S.S.* (). I have a Denobulan that captains the *Luna*\-class *U.S.S.* (). My Ferengi has a marauder titled (), which incidentally is the ship name character limit. My Brikar uses mountain or volcano names for his ships: *U.S.S.* ()*.*

And *California*\-class ships (which we’ll get sooner or later) are all named after locations in California. Some, like the *Luna* or *California*\-class ships have a theme to them *Luna*\-class ships are named after various moons, generally from Sol but depending on the character theme I might include lore-relevant moons. It varies by character theme or starship class.
